Week of October 5

School Pictures
Tomorrow, October 5th, is school picture day! Students need to be in uniform since these are also the yearbook pictures.

Distance Learners School Pictures
Tomorrow, distance learners will be able to come in and take a school picture if they want to. We will have a camera set up downstairs in the hallway that is closest to the grass field. You will park outside those doors and the student will be able to go right in those doors. Please sign up on the sign-up genius so we can maintain social distancing. Pictures will be between 10:00-1:30. Students do need to be in a red or navy polo for pictures. Students will also need a face covering to walk in and out of the building. Please do not send any students who are not feeling well. Parents/Guardians will not be allowed in the building.

There will be a retake day on November 10th if you are unable to come on Monday.

Report Cards
Wednesday grades for the first grading period will be finalized in Powerschool. Parents/Guardians of 1st-6th graders need to check Powerschool as we will not be sending home printed report cards. If you need access to Powerschool please email shannon.beauchamp@hpafortworth.com.

Students can wear a college shirt and jeans this day.

Sick Students
Please DO NOT send your student to school if they are feeling sick. We are checking temps and symptoms daily, but we need parents/guardians to do the same. If you are sick and awaiting COVID testing please keep your student home as well until you have a negative result. When students are home sick they can do distance learning and be counted present.

Remember these are the COVID Symptoms:

Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit

▪ Loss of taste or smell

▪ Cough

▪ Difficulty breathing

▪ Shortness of breath

▪ Fatigue

▪ Headache

▪ Chills

▪ Sore throat

▪ Congestion or runny nose

▪ Shaking or exaggerated shivering
▪ Significant muscle pain or ache

Testing
Please read this letter concerning beginning of the year testing that will take place this week.

If you are a distance letter in grades K-2 please sign up for a time to come in and do TPRI with your teacher. These results have to be submitted to the state so it is very important that we have test results for all students.
